About Jacob Bui

Currently studying Aerospace Engineering at Auburn University’s Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, I serve as the Internal Vice President of the Vietnamese Student Association (VSA). I lead cross-committee project management, foster collaboration with fellow organizations, and organize large-scale events with over 200 participants. As a NASA OSTEM Intern, I contributed to In-space Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing (ISAM) initiatives, designing robotic grippers and prototyping tools using Creo. My core competencies include computer-aided design (CAD), event planning, and cross-functional teamwork, which I aim to leverage in the aerospace industry to foster impactful innovation and collaboration.

   Advocates for VSA at networking events, strengthening community ties and fostering cooperation with fellow student organizations and university partners. Collaborates with fellow student organizations, organizing events with at least five other organizations with expected attendance of 200+ members; plans large events and coordinates with internal representatives to accomplish event planning. Serves as President’s operations lead, organizing cross-committee project management; delegates production of meeting timelines, tasks, and procedures.
