Leading a specialised team of consultants responsible for effectively managing customers experiencing vulnerability, contentious and large loss catastrophe (CAT) property claims. Other responsibilities include: • Identifying pain points within the team or experienced by the customer by listening to feedback, or through data analysis, and creating an action plan to improve the claims experience for both consultant and customer. • Supporting the team by fostering a positive and professional workplace culture. • Providing coaching based on KPI metrics, and encouraging development opportunities which focus on individuals interests as well as future business requirements. • Engaging and working with Human Resources where required. • Holding the Team accountable for their contribution towards team and department short and long term goals and objectives through work lists management and case management. • Effectively managing and cultivating a positive attitude towards risk and compliance, and recording of relevant regulatory breaches across the Team. • Manage available resources to deliver budgeted outcomes in claims costs and total controllable expenses identifying levers and actions to correct or further improve the profitability of the products within all IAG portfolios. • Celebrating and acknowledging peer successes and living the IAG Spirit and Values: ‘Honest & Upfront’, ‘Easier Together’, ‘Act & Own It’, ‘Reimagine Today’, and ‘Treat Everyone Fairly’.
