I handle a portfolio of health plans who use Availity for a wide variety of services and products. I am educated on ANSI X12 format and compliance as well as JAHCO and HIPAA standards. I am responsible as their liaison to interpret their difficulties and problems with those services and products and translate them to our technical team so they can resolve them. I handle all communications between my health plans and Availity, from weekly operational or strategic discussions to quarterly business reviews to financial, security, and IT assessments annually. I utilize JIRA, Salesforce, Workday, and Confluence in my daily work, and I am considered a subject matter expert on tier two and tier three national health plans.
