Expanding my role to Manager, HIV Lead for the Medical Affairs Meetings & Events, has given me the opportunity to focus my skills on the strategy and process of my team\'s projects. As we expand our roles into new departments of the company and our team scales to match the volume of programs, I am growing to ensure that the direction of the team aligns with the other Therapeutic Area Lead Managers on my team. Another aspect of my roles has been to ensure the the HIV events are in sync with the global policies and strategies Gilead has as a whole for the HIV Therapeutic Area. In addition to my expanded role on my job function, I have continued my role on the Pride Alliance ERG. Last year my focus as Treasurer was to work within my ERG to expand our reach. This year I am focusing on how I can work with leaders in the ERGs inside and outside of my company to expand the impact I can have on the communities I live in.
