ABOUT ISHITA TARUN

Hi, I am Ishita Tarun. I’m a commerce student who values consistency, creativity, and clarity of thought. Over the years, I’ve explored both numbers and narratives—whether it\'s through competitive academics, visual arts, or collaborative leadership. In 2017, I was the 1st Runner-Up in the UCMAS State-Level Abacus Championship, qualifying for the nationals. In 2023, my artistic side received national recognition when my painting secured a place among the Top 100 (Rank 77) out of submissions in the All-India Mother’s Day Painting Competition organized by Dainik Bhaskar. Academically, I’ve consistently aimed for excellence, scoring 90.8% in ICSE Class 10 and 94.6% in CBSE Class 12 (Commerce stream). I have a strong interest in finance, economics, and business strategy. My leadership experience includes serving as the Event Head for “Eco Vogue”, a sustainability-themed fashion event at Commerce fest, hosted by my school Delhi Public School, Ranchi, with participants from across Jharkhand. Beyond academics, I’ve completed 3 years of Bharatnatyam training, and I enjoy playing chess in my free time, a game that sharpens my strategic thinking. I look forward to combining creativity, logic, and leadership in every opportunity I pursue in the commerce and finance domain.
