ABOUT ISHA UMAIMA

I’m a product designer with a background in psychology and behaviour science, which naturally shaped the way I approach problems. I’m comfortable digging into how people think, how workflows break down, and where friction actually lives. That perspective guides every part of my process.My work spans research, UX, UI, and systems thinking. Most of my projects start with unclear requirements or teams that need structure. I break problems down, define the flow, and design interfaces that are simple and easy to move through. I’ve worked across a range of industries including health, education, retail, and service platforms, usually in environments where things move fast and the product is still taking shape.I have experience designing for both web and mobile, building components, establishing design standards, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. I focus on clarity, reasoning, and decisions backed by insight rather than aesthetics alone. I’m comfortable owning a problem end to end and translating early ideas into something real, testable, and scalable.I care about thoughtful execution, clean systems, and designing with intention.
