ABOUT ISABEL SCHER

I want my work to mean something in the world. I’m sure you do too.For me, meaning comes from facilitating workshops on the science of sustainable performance, bringing leaders together to wrestle with the messy, human parts of leadership, or working one-on-one with leaders to access their creativity and wisdom — and take steps toward leading lives that truly delight them.I hold myself to showing up with insight, curiosity, playfulness, presence, and rigor. I have wildly high standards and I’m obsessed with quality — but it also has to be fun. If we’re not connecting and laughing (even, and especially, in hard times), what’s the point?Intellectually, I’m a personal and organizational development nerd. I look at human behavior through both a systemic lens (political, organizational) and an individual one (psychology, adult development, internal family systems, mindfulness). I have a deep passion for this work, and I’m always seeking to grow in wisdom — if for no other reason than to live my own life with greater ease.My professional background is in strategy consulting at McKinsey, and I hold a Master’s in Global Affairs through the Schwarzman Scholars Program. Today, as a Senior Leadership Consultant and Coach at Potential Project, I partner with organizations like Eli Lilly, Cisco, and McKinsey & Company to help leaders navigate complexity with both clarity and care. I’m also a Certified Leadership coach through the International Coaching Federation.
