ABOUT INGRID TAYLOR
Driven by a belief that we have not yet lived up to the best version of what our community can be, I\'ve focused my work on people and organizations that strive to improve access, equity and collaboration, particularly in the education and health sectors. Imagining and living into the common good is the work of United Way for Greater Austin and it\'s the most important work we can do together. While having the privilege to serve in this and other leadership roles, I know that driving change and improving social conditions is always and only the result of collaborative efforts. Having been elected trustee to the Austin school board, served on local non-profit boards (including University High School, Ballet Austin, and St. Stephen\'s Episcopal School) and volunteered in other organizations, I am vested in making today better than yesterday, and tomorrow better than today.
