Christened as Indira VMD, I am an agricultural scientist turned dancing-academician. Being a passionate Bharatanatyam dancer, my foray into education started by using dance a teaching- learning strategy. Initially, it was for children with learning disabilities and behavioral problems. Gradually, other forms of art like drawing, painting, singing, dramatics, writing and even cooking was included. The objective is to cater to every type of learner irrespective of the interest,\'capacity\',\'intellect\', etc. Developing curriculum, creating specific plans, trying out innovative strategies for classroom management are my areas of interest. Having a classroom full of all types of children absorbing, assimilating the core concepts in their own learner specific way, practicing an art they enjoy and connecting it to their favorite concept is my dream.In short, you will find me where art and conceptual learning meets.
