ABOUT NIVEDITA MUKERJEE

I believe in working towards an enabling environment for education, including people, nature, and infrastructure, which nurtures our inherent curiosity to learn and reflect. This along with the skill of communication will enable each one of us to advocate for ourselves and others. We will be able to persevere, work in collaboration, have empathy, and bring in the change to solve problems creating a positive impact on everything around us.In particular, I have:25 years of experience in education which include: Academic Advisor and Education start-up consultant for Schools, Higher Education Institutions, Ed-Tech companies, mentoring school leaders, and counseling on parenting; Guest Faculty with CENTA (Center for Teacher Accreditation); Director of Excellence and Strategic Initiatives, CMR University (Engineering, Architecture and Management Schools); Director and head of Neev schools; Senior science teacher at Indus International School (an IB World School); Guest lecturer for Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and Genetics for MBBS (Medical first and second year) as well as for News Journalism for Undergraduate degree students (Communicative English and Mass communication); Founding a Masters\' degree institute for Convergence Media Journalism.• 15 years’ experience in television and print journalism as News Correspondent for Doordarshan, News Editor and Producer for Zee and CNBC Asia, Managing Editor for CIO India magazine, and an announcer in All India Radio.Currently, I am leading strategic initiatives and process excellence in the space of K-12 schools and higher education. I am an advisor to school management and leadership teams in both private and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. I am working with institutions across India to identify needs select/deploy experts to execute professional development modules, parent advisory and counseling, social media initiatives, marketing communications, recruitment, and enrolment protocols in alignment with the institution’s mission and vision.
