I manage both the PBH Intake department and PH Scheduling department. The PBH Intake department includes both the Central Intake and the Helpline teams. Both teams support Parkview Behavioral Health Institute (PBHI). PBHI includes Parkview Behavioral Health hospital, PPG Psychiatry, and Park Center, which is our Community Mental Health Center (CMHC). PBHI provides mental health and substance use services to meet your level of need. Programs include inpatient, residential, addictions treatment, intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient therapies, outpatient medication management, and community-based case management services. Central Intake is responsible for all scheduling requests for ambulatory services for PBHI. Central Intake processes phone calls, faxes, emails, and referrals, as well as authorizations for our criminal justice partners, Department of Child Services (DCS), and clients eligible for Medicaid Rehabilitation Option (MRO). The Helpline is staffed 24/7/365 and serves as a centralized entry point for individuals who are seeking behavioral health services or are experiencing a crisis. The PH scheduling department is responsible for scheduling outpatient procedures for all Parkview Hospitals, verify incoming faxed orders to ensure the order is valid, and assist patients with specialty scheduling when referred outside of Parkview.
