As VP Associate Chief Medical Information Officer, I lead enterprise initiatives that leverage clinical informatics and technology to bridge clinical excellence, AI strategy, and digital innovation. My focus is on improving physician workflows, enhancing usability, and driving safer, more efficient care through Epic optimization and AI adoption.Over the past year, I’ve led systemwide governance and standardization efforts across inpatient care—building an Epic Inpatient Provider [Informatics] Council, redesigning CDS governance using Clickbusters principles, and aligning physician leadership with analytics and EHR strategy. I’m passionate about transforming clinical workflows through intelligent automation, ambient documentation, and data-driven decision support. I integrate EHR data analysis to drive system improvements. I am also interested in the use of data analytics and purposeful implementation of AI to solve problems and improve the efficiency of the healthcare system.My approach combines clinical insight with operational rigor and measurable outcomes. Recent achievements include helping Parkview Health earn the KLAS Pinnacle Award for Physician Experience and KLAS Synergy Award, reducing interruptive alerts by 25%(resulting in a decrease), leading the Epic DAX Ambient inpatient rollout, and proposing an AI governance strategy for the health system. I thrive at the intersection of informatics and strategy—partnering with clinical leaders to turn digital transformation into meaningful physician and patient outcomes. I enjoy collaborating with other informatics and digital health leaders who are advancing clinical usability, intelligent automation, and better physician experience across health systems.
