I am an Actuary specializing in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance in Canada, with experience in pricing. As a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA), I bring extensive knowledge and experience to my role and surrounding stakeholders. With a deep understanding of actuarial principles and methodologies, I excel in analyzing complex data sets to assess risks and develop robust pricing strategies. My experience extends to analyzing underwriting profitability, loss trends, and claims experience, allowing me to make informed decisions that optimize insurance pricing structures. I have also worked on implementing new pricing models and collaborated with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes. Furthermore, I have a keen interest in data science and programming, which I am actively expanding to complement my actuarial prowess.
