Project management Oct 20••••22Management of the operational requirements of our Central Development laboratory and R&D Pilot PlantKey Responsibilities:• Managing the Planning, Operations, Quality,HSE and engineering disciplines for the Pilot Plant and Central Development Lab • Ongoing Management of QSHE standards, 3rd party auditing for both sites • Ensuring a robust system in place for material management• Ensuring a robust system in place for development batch make up and trial management and traceability on upscale• Ensuring maintenance and calibration activities are planned and carried out to the correct standard • Supporting the running a brand new, state of the art pilot plant facility.• Leading improvement opportunities for machine design, Ways of Working and team development across both sites• Working closely with OEMs for changeability parts with new designed packaging and products and specialist product development equipment • Planning and leading of Opex and Capex budget for Pilot plant and Central Development Laboratory• Strategic planning of commercial and seed brand trials for the Pilot plant• Ensuring compliance to ongoing development training of staff across both sites• Managing the continued vision for both sites to ensure these support and lead the business in its strategic objectives.•Creating relevant KPI and PBO objectives for both departments and creating and inspiring place and team to achieve and exceed these targets.

Over 25 years experience in an FMCG Enviroment with great expertise in Engineering, Quality management, planning, OPEX/CAPEX, project management, Food safety & Leadership / Management Currently managing a Research and Development production facility and accountable for role out of short & long term strategies within AOP, Innovation, Test & Learn and commercial production. This role demands close key stake holder relationships with the Implementation and Central Quality teams, Central HSE, HR, equipment suppliers, raw material suppliers, planners, logistics, factory operations and facility maintenance department to ensure smooth operation of both facilities.
