I joined this team to be responsible for product lifecycle activities for the Hewlett Packard StoreOnce product line. Central to this is owning the product roadmap and working with the engineering and other teams to get the most value delivered in each product release.In this role I have manged a new product in an emerging market segment through to a portfolio of products with significant revenue. This has been done by identifying and focusing on the features with most customer value. Over multiple release the features, licensing, pricing and support has evolved in the context of customer, market and competitive demands.This has been delivered by working with our engineering, services, finance and marketing teams. It has also been delivered through cooperation with partners such as Microsoft, Oracle and VMware.On a day to day basis this means staying on top of the backlog and planning the next release while working through the delivery of the current release and being its subject matter expert to assist with current opportunities and escalations.Representing the product to customers directly and at events is a key part of the role. Customers include end users, our sales channel and other parts of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. As well as face to face contact, I write blogs, papers and tweets to communicate product features and related solutions.
