ABOUT IAIN MACDONALD
I am a social, hard-working and team oriented environmental scientist specialising in GHG emissions, marine issues, CCS and operational excellence. I have risen to the challenges of managing a multidisciplinary cross department science driven programme to focus on multi-sponsor drivers. I also have excellent corporate relationship and event management experience. I currently work on corporate carbon strategies including GHG emission accounting and lead the Oil and Gas Climate Initiatives efforts on CCUS. I have previously managed for 10 years the largest industrial-academic collaboration on CCS valued at $70M. In addition, I have over 5+ years industrial experience in the world’s largest LNG producing company relating to implementing new good practices with respect to environmental performance and engaging/educating regulators/operators/shareholders/the public.
