Managing all aspects of Print Production at Whites including overseeing the Artwork Studio, Press Room and Finishing Department so jobs are designed, printed, finished and despatched according to customers specifications.The Artwork Studio uses both Mac and Windows computers running a collection of different software applications including for artwork origination purposes: QuarkXpress. Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat and when files are supplied by customers when needed Microsoft Word, Excel & Publisher.\'Press Profiler\' software generates ink profiles from one of the Macs and those ink profiles are them written to data cards from the CTP Platform.A \"Develop Ineo+1070\" colour digital production press with air suction fed triple draw paper feed unit, and stitching, stacking finishing options and the \"Oce\" colour digital production press are operated from a platform with a Fiery front end controlled by Command Workstation with Fiery Impose software. The Cobra CTP (computer to plate) system is controlled from a platform running a Harlequin front end running Highwater Q2 and Cobra Console software. The Cobra CTP images FujiFilm lo-chem plates which are \'processed\' through a Heights Blue Amber Finishing Wash Out unit.The press room contains two litho presses, a five colour Heidelberg Printmaster,(with ink profiles supplied via \'Press Profiler\' software uploaded to data cards and transferred to the press), and a two colour Heidelberg Quickmaster, along with a Heidelberg Platen.The finishing department contains equipment which can: Guillotine, Collate, Perfect Book Bind, Saddle Stitch & Looped Wire Saddle Stitch, Laminate, Encapsulate, Various Punching and Wire Binding applications, Round Corner, Drill, Crease, Fold, Number, Perforate, Emboss and Die Cut.
