My name is Shohag Hossain, I have Over 8 years working experience on IT sector and almost 6 years I have been working as a Hadoop Administrator mostly based on Cloudera Distributions CDH and CDP. Hands on Experience in installation, configuration, supporting, monitoring, troubleshooting Hadoop clusters using ecosystem components like HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, HBase, Zookeeper, Sqoop, Sentry/Ranger, Oozie, Solr, Atlas on CDH/CDP.• Experience on Commissioning, Decommissioning, Balancing, and Managing Nodes and tuning server for optimal performance of the cluster.• Experience in maintaining high availability of Name Node Metadata and other important sensitive data residing on cluster by building functional BDR cluster. • Experienced in designing, implementing and managing Secure Authentication mechanism to Hadoop Cluster with Kerberos. • Experienced in Apache Sentry/Ranger in Access Control and Authorizations. • Hands on experience on data governance, data encryption and audit by configuring Cloudera Navigator/Atlas and SSL/TLS. • Manage, coordinate and implement software upgrades, patches, and error fixes on servers and workstations. • Real-time experience on data ingestion tools- such as Sqoop,Talend and configure ETL processes as well as manage them on daily bases.• Experience in data transferring utilities like scp, sftp, distcp and others. • Experience in importing and exporting data between HDFS and RDMS using different ETL. • Experience in scheduling all Hadoop/Hive/Sqoop/HBase jobs using Oozie and Autosys. • Hands on experience in analyzing Log files for Hadoop and Eco-System services and finding root cause.
