I was educated at the University of Oslo with a Ph. D in catalysis, 1990. In 15 years (1984 – 1998) I was employed at SINTEF engaged in research within petro chemistry, refining technology and CO2 capture. Author of a number of publications in scientific journals and co-inventor of patents within catalysis technology.In 1998 I was employed at Norsk Hydro engaged in business development of refining and new energy technologies including CCS. Since 1st of October 2007 I have been with Statoil, primarily with responsibilities as a research advisor about renewable energy and CCS.
