Global crises, inequality of opportunity, mental health problems: The young generation faces many challenges that cannot be met by only learning about Maths, English and Chemistry. How do I cope with stress? How do I deal with different perspectives? How do I communicate and resolve conflicts?The education system of the 21st century must make young people resilient to these major and minor challenges in life. For a more healthy, happy and just world.With Dare2Care we want to change education: We strengthen young people and their educators in their social-emotional learning.With our 7-person team and over 120 volunteers, we have supported students in the classroom and students through programs for educators. We have received several awards for our work, e.g. the Employer Award for Education, the Ulrike Lindenthal Prize of the DGPPN for destigmatization and the Youth Democracy Prize of the Federal Agency for Civic Education.
