ABOUT HELEN MCCOMBE
I am an executive committee member in the Distribution business and lead a diverse team of legal professionals in Scotland and England, all supporting the business unit. I am also the Company secretary.I have 20 years of legal experience, initially in an M&A and Private Equity role in private practice, and more recently in a variety of roles within SSE plc. I deal with a wide range of transactional, commercial and advisory matters and engage with internal and external stakeholders to further the objectives of the Distribution business and support the drive to Net Zero. I have indepth experience of the energy industry from a legal perspective and, as part of the executive decision making function for the distribution business, work with, advise and support a variety of specialists and business leaders, and our executive and non-executive directors.
