I lead the release and environment service within a strategic programme delivering major regulatory changes to SSE’s Oracle ERP platform, which underpins the organisation’s core business operations. My role spans both Azure cloud-based and on-premise applications integrated with Oracle ERP, ensuring environments are fit for purpose and software deployments are production-ready. I collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to align delivery timelines and manage production cutovers, owning the cutover plan and coordinating resources to execute defined tasks for successful go-lives. Key Achievements • Defined and implemented the Corporate IT Release and Environment Strategy. • Delivered a seamless cutover of a Azure hosted EBS integrated critical purchasing application into production, overcoming previous failed attempts. • Embedded a culture of continuous improvement across release and environment management practices.
