ABOUT HELEN DRUMMOND
Helen Drummond is a seasoned non-profit executive with over 30 years of experience in Environmental and Natural Resource Management. She has a proven track record of delivering conservation outcomes, creating innovative solutions to problems, and fostering effective partnerships. As Houston Audubon’s Chief Executive Officer, Helen oversees the organization’s day to day operations, finances, and program-delivery associated with the ownership and management of 17 nature sanctuaries on the upper Texas coast and the yearly execution of hundreds of nature-based programs and experiences for both children and adults. Prior to joining Houston Audubon in 2012, Helen served 18 years in various positions at the Galveston Bay Estuary Program; the last 13 years were served as Program Director. Helen E. Drummond holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Environmental Science from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia and a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Houston, Texas.
