I am a Managing Director in the Credit Suisse Investment Bank Compliance function UK & EMEA. In my career I have worked as both a practitioner and as a consultant, having served renowned global financial institutions for over 30 years, advising and assisting with achieving strong compliance and managing change within the banking sector. I have developed strong risk management and change management capabilities as a result, able to identify and assess risk while developing practical and scalable solutions to address it.As a practitioner I have experience of leading Compliance through large scale transformation and regulatory reform programs such as EU Exit and other legal entity programs, G20 Derivatives reform,(L)IBOR Transition and MiFID II. I have advised and assisted senior management in identifying and assessing risk and in developing and executing remediation programs.As a consultant with PwC I developed an expertise in governance, risk and compliance, supporting my clients in the execution of change. I was actively engaged with banking firms throughout the financial crisis as they worked to strengthen their governance and risk management. I worked with the Partners of PwC in connection with Sir David Walker’s review of Corporate Governance in the banking sector and I also led a team of consultants supporting the Administrators of Lehman Brothers International (Europe).
