As a communications leader at Westat, I consult on, lead, and support communication efforts across a diverse range of large-scale, multi-million dollar federal contracts and grants. I work with project teams to develop and implement engaging, audience-focused communication strategies, using best practices in marketing and communications to tell powerful stories and amplify the voices of individuals with lived experience. With a strong eye for design and a passion for storytelling, I manage and mentor high-performing teams, helping them grow into future communications leaders. I am an active member of several professional communities, including the Communication and Dissemination Work Group for the Comprehensive Center Network program, and I serve as the Communication Coordinator for Westat’s Technical Assistance Community of Practice. I also have experience in project and content management for national events and conferences, and I have presented at industry conferences on effective storytelling for government-funded research and technical assistance projects.
