He is Chair of Quantum Technical Community (QTC), Steering Committee Chair of Quantum Week, the International Conference on Quantum Computing & Engineering (QCE), and QCE26 General Chair.Hausi A. Müller (PhD PEng FCAE) is a Professor in Computer Science. He was Associate Dean of Research (20••••19) in the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Victoria, Canada. He served on the Conferences Committee (2019-21). He was Vice President of Computer Society (CS) Technical and Conferences Activities (T&C) Board (2016–2018), member of CS Board of Governors (2015–2017), chair of TCSE, CS Technical Community on Software Engineering (20••••15). With his research group, he collaborates extensively with industry in quantum computing, software engineering, adaptive systems, IoT, and intelligent cyber-physical systems. He is one of the founders of Quantum Week, the International Conference on Quantum Computing & Engineering (QCE), and the SEAMS conference series International Symposium on Software Engineering for Adaptive and Self-Managing Systems). He was Program Co-Chair of WF-IoT 2018 & 2015, the World Forum of the Internet of Things. He was General Co-Chair of CASCON 2025 and Program Co-Chair of CASCON 2016, 2010, and 2003. He was the General Chair of ICSE 2001, the International Conference on Software Engineering, and ICSME 2014, the International Conference on Software Maintenance and Evolution. He was the founding Director of BSEng, a CEAB-accredited Bachelor of Software Engineering degree program at the University of Victoria. Dr. Müller is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (FCAE). He received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering in 1979 from the ETH, Zürich, and his MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science in 1984 and 1986, respectively, from Rice University in Houston, Texas.He enjoys singing, playing guitar, hiking, and skiing.
