ABOUT HARSEERAT DUA

Hey there! I am a third-year Bachelor of Commerce student at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary. I plan to concentrate in business analytics and pursue a minor in data science. I thrive on analyzing data and deriving detail-oriented results, which fuels my academic and professional journey. Currently, I work as a Summer Community Ambassador at the University of Calgary Residence Services. In this role, I support students, organize events, and promote inclusivity within the residence community. My duties include maintaining connections with residents, addressing policy violations, and performing on-call duties. As the Director of Marketing at Enactus University of Calgary, I have applied my creativity to develop and implement digital campaigns that address social issues with entrepreneurial solutions. This role has enhanced my ability to create impactful content, engage diverse audiences, and find innovative solutions to complex problems. I have demonstrated leadership through coordinating voluntary projects and mentoring international students. I successfully managed the eco move-out initiative, overseeing over 100 volunteers and facilitating the move-out process for more than 1700 students. As an International Student Mentor, I provided essential resources and support to newly admitted international students, aiding their university acclimation. Proficient in project management, MS Office, and Excel, I utilize these tools for data analysis, reporting, and streamlining processes. Moreover, I am passionate about volunteering and enjoy being actively involved around campus and continuously learning new skills.
