ABOUT HARLEEN LIDHER
Second year in Architecture at Nottingham Trent University. Since young, I have always enjoyed employed work whilst in full time education. Starting as a volunteer at my local swimming baths where I would help experienced instructors with young children in early swimming lessons. This eventually become my paid Saturday job which I enjoyed and loved seeing the growth of young learners.During 2023 I was successful in applying for work experience at Worcester Lloyd Architects which I keenly accepted. This led to three different time periods of work experience throughout the year (April,July & August). I had the opportunity of experiencing and learning real time projects and being involved directly with clients by being able to listen to their ideas of how they visualised their design to work in the space required. Once the requirement was understood and a plan was agreed with the client, we would work on creating a design to the brief given which I found was where I was at my best. I found the whole work experience very valuable in my path of becoming an accredited Architect. Currently looking for the right fit within an Architect firm for an internship where I can can demonstrate my strengths of build and development design.
