ABOUT HALEY KAREN

As a School Psychologist, I have over ten years of experience in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of children from diverse backgrounds and needs. I am certified by the New York State Education Department and the National Association of School Psychologists, and I hold a Master of Education and a Master of Arts in School Psychology from Teachers College of Columbia University.In my current role, I communicate effectively with the school team and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including administrators, teachers, families, and students. I conduct standardized psychoeducational assessments, analyze student data to identify trends, and provide insights and coaching to educators. I partner with multiple interdisciplinary teams to ensure strong outcomes for students, and I maintain a high caseload of students with aligned goals and programmatic outcomes. I also lead professional development workshops and presentations on topics such as social-emotional learning, positive behavior support, and crisis response. I am passionate about helping students, families, and educators thrive by providing access to the skills and support they deserve. I am looking for an opportunity to leverage my psychology and education expertise, as well as my team leadership, communication, and presentation skills, to make a positive impact on the lives of students and educators in a dynamic and inclusive organization.
