ABOUT DIVYA MATHUR

I have been working in special education for over 7 years now. I have worked in multiple settings (non-public schools, public schools, charter schools). My skills in behavior planning, assistive technology, UDL, differentiated instruction, and IEP development allow me to meet the needs of every student.More importantly, my years of experience have taught me the patience and encouragement and heart that is required of a special education teacher. Over the past seven years, I have realized that my students are more than just IEP goals and little human beings I work with. They are my children. And I work closely with family members and other service providers in order to ensure their success long-term.
