Writes and distributes press releases and articles- Cultivates and maintains relations with external news and communication partners to increase reach and build brand awareness- Maintains contact with the council’s member senior executives, press and marketing contacts- Assists in coordinating content for articles, advertisements, and collaborations- Managing editor of DCUC’s monthly ALERT newsletter— planned and co-designed the transformation of DCUC’s ALERT into a fully-digital, interactive e-magazine; viewed by high level DoD, Congressional and credit union staff members- Collaborates with Marketing Specialist for graphic designs, social media planning, communications calendar, website management, and email campaign designs- Maintains up-to-date (e)mailing lists and manages all outgoing email campaigns to segmented lists of CEOs, DoD officials, senior executives, members’ staff, industry trade associations and partners, sponsors, and internal council staff- Coordinates with outside vendors for print distribution to a broad and growing readership- Assists in graphic design for conference materials, infographics, advertisements, annual achievements, and the annual dues packet- Designs annual Accomplishments Overview for distribution to all current and prospective membership
