GB
At Amna, I lead trauma- and identity-informed training and facilitation within the Systems of Care pillar, collaborating with institutions, governments, and humanitarian actors to embed collective healing practices into social systems serving displaced and war-affected populations. In this role, I design and deliver culturally grounded, evidence-based training for professionals across health, education, and migration sectors—bridging clinical practice and community resilience. My work focuses on expanding the reach and depth of trauma-sensitive care in fragile and politically complex contexts, including Gaza and Syria, where psychosocial needs are urgent and systemic change is vital- Co-design and adapt training curricula grounded in trauma theory, neuroscience, identity, and cultural responsiveness- Build long-term capacity through mentorship, post-training accompaniment, and contextual support- Lead institutional engagement efforts to integrate Amna’s healing frameworks within national and NGO care systems- Collaborate with a global network of trainers, facilitators, and researchers to develop innovative, human-centred healing approaches.
