Building a SaaS platform in the financial industry to Powering alternative investments® with the leading order management system (“OMS”) for alternative product transactions. As the second engineer in the team, I contributed in architecting and building every layer of the application from its early stage. Also had the opportunity to experience the growth of the company and the engineering team. As some highlights, to secure sensitive financial data of the customers, we implemented security features like JWT, 2-FA, user\'s session management with multi sessions and timeout (via JWT token) for inactive user and a Rack middleware to prevent attacks. I was responsible for creating a reusable React UI Components library with CSS-In-JS (Emotion library) and Storybook to be used by internal projects that supported a total rebrand and redesign of the application. Dealt with heavy process to fully map complex documents and ability to add digital signatures (E-Sign) with integration to external apps. Main technologies: • React & Redux ecosystem, Emotion/CSS-in-JS for the frontend • Ruby on Rails 6 for RESTful APIs. Action Cable for Websocket/realtime • Redis – for caching; Sidekiq – for background job processing • Docker, AWS and PostgreSQL • Rspec + React Testing Library + Cypress, for tests / CircleCI – CI & CD • Agile + Slack + Github flow
