I was selected for the United States Naval Reserve direct commission officer program in August 2020. I have completed Officer Development School and the Defense Information School Public Affairs – Communication Strategy Course in 2021. In March 2022, I was selected to serve as the assistant public affairs officer and media department division officer aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78). During this month-long tour, I oversaw the planning and development of 12 distinguished visitor tours and embarks, the release of more than 750 production items and helped the incoming PAO transition seamlessly to their new role.
