Nearpod was acquired by Renaissance Learning)Employee Experience & Engagement Leader | Culture Architect | Community BuilderAs the primary driver of culture and engagement strategies at Renaissance (parent company of Nearpod), I work cross-functionally to embed our mission, values, and employee experience initiatives into everything we do—from company-wide events to leadership initiatives—creating programs that empower employees and foster a thriving workplace at every stage of their journey.Key Focus Areas:• Community & Engagement: Build and manage online and in-person communities through engagement hubs via Viva Engage, regional events, and virtual programming, including Learning Lounges, Employee Recognition/Celebration Events, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).• Employee Experience & Recognition: Oversee recognition programs like 5 Cheers and WorkTango, coordinate Employee Appreciation Day initiatives, and drive efforts to embed a culture of appreciation.• Culture & Onboarding: Lead cultural orientation programs, develop the Culture Playbook, and ensure new employees feel welcomed and integrated from day one.• Acquisitions & Integration: Serve as the main liaison for acquired employees, manage the Acquired Employee Playbook, and ensure seamless cultural alignment.• Employee Surveys & Metrics: Oversee the ‘Your Voice, Our Mission’ annual survey, track engagement and belonging metrics, and leverage data to drive action plans that enhance the workplace experience.• Strategic Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to elevate company-wide communication strategies, enhance leader engagement, and promote DEI and wellness initiatives.
