ABOUT GRANT SHERROD

As the Director of Marketing and Hospitality at Taft Management Group, I have the opportunity to combine my passion for people, creativity, and community-building every day. I focus on elevating the identity and presence of our multifamily communities while supporting our onsite teams in creating meaningful, welcoming experiences for our residents.My approach to leadership is rooted in connection, collaboration, and hospitality. I enjoy helping teams grow their confidence in marketing, expand how they tell their community’s story, and find new ways to make our properties stand out. Whether it involves guiding digital strategy, improving resident engagement, shaping brand direction, or strengthening partnerships, I love being part of the work that helps each community feel like home.Before stepping into this role, I started with Taft Family Ventures as a Leasing Consultant at one of our communities. From there, I worked my way up as I developed my skills in property management, marketing, and resident relations. That hands-on experience shaped my understanding of the onsite perspective and continues to guide how I support and collaborate with our teams today.I earned my degree from East Carolina University, where I learned the importance of communication, service, and leadership. I carry those values into every project and interaction.I am always looking to learn from others, share ideas, and connect with people within and beyond the multifamily industry.
