ABOUT GRACE HAMPTON RIVERS

With over 10 years of experience in events and marketing, I am passionate about creating and delivering impactful events and campaigns that showcase Abcam\'s products and services to the global scientific community. I have a strong background in campaign development and execution, event management and promotion, and stakeholder relationship management. I enjoy working with a diverse and dynamic team that shares Abcam\'s mission of enabling life scientists to achieve their research goals.As the Events and Marketing Manager at Abcam, I manage the strategic creation of a busy events portfolio, including Abcam hosted and third party events. I establish relationships with scientific collaborators to chair and speak at Abcam hosted events, and work with BD and Sales to develop co-marketing opportunities with strategic partners. I also create and manage marketing plans to promote event registrations across all internal and external channels, and write marketing copy and design briefs for new event branding. I have successfully delivered multiple events and campaigns that generated high attendance, engagement, and feedback from the target audience. Some of the skills that I use in my role are campaign execution, campaign development, event management, and stakeholder relationship management.
