Managing the planning and production of marketing materials to promote Union departments, services, Student Presidents, Vice Presidents, and associated activities- Co-ordinating the Union’s output across all media platforms and channels, including university-wide email communication, digital/social/web, and print- Leading on the creation of engaging and informative media, including podcasts, short and long form video, print and more- Develop and execute marketing and communication plans for events and campaigns, providing advice, support and training to project leads when necessary- Lead on the development of annual publications- Develop attractive commercial media sales opportunities and manage the Union’s relationship with external booking partners/agencies- Effectively manage and protect the organisation’s brand and identity- Project lead for annual commercial events including Freshers Fair, Student Housing Fair and ad-hoc events- Support the planning, co-ordination and delivery of regular campus-based social events alongside Freshers Week, Graduation Ball, and formal award presentation ceremonies/balls- Line management responsibility for Graphic Designer, Promotions & Engagement Team plus Marketing and Media Interns, ensuring they have clear direction, support and opportunities for development.
