1st Line Production Supervisor @repsol

As shift supervisor I am a member of the Talisman Sinopec Energy Offshore Management Team and am accountable for the performance of the Operations Team with key areas being the safe delivery of the business objectives, timely resolution of operational issues and maintaining the competency of their teams.I also have a responsibility to deliver the Talisman Sinopec Safety management system. This involves a commitment to conduct both scheduled and ad hoc safety audits, relevant inspections and to engage all Talisman personnel in behavioural safety conversations and interventions. I acts as platform focal point for ISSOW and carries out the AA role when required and ensures compliance of the system across the platform. Key Responsibilities include – Meeting Talisman Sinopec safety, environmental, production targets and standards in a safe and efficient manner.Ensure that operational procedures, guidelines and policies are developed, implemented, reviewed and complied with at all times.Monitor and respond effectively to operational changes, communicate to relevant parties any changes in operating parameters.Ensuring that my team are conversant with and comply with current internal policies and procedures and with legislative and relevant industry requirements.Performance manages and develops individuals within the teams in line with business requirements.Plans own workload in advance, scheduling activities to optimize the effectiveness of my own and other contributions.Actively promotes and monitors cost conscious and value add mindset to the operations team, minimize downtime and strive to increase production efficiency.Able to effectively integrate and report outputs from a range of process functions.I am fully conversant with all forms of process engineering documentation, including block diagrams, PFD’s, P & ID’s, Data Sheets and Cause Effect charts.
