ABOUT GONZALO MATÍAS REY

I\'ve always knew that my future was gonna be around technology; right from the start in high school where I studied electronics and later at college where I majored in Informatics Engineering (Computer Science). Because of my ties to electronics, my grade thesis focused in designing and developing a robot from scratch, an incredible journey that took longer than expected. It started in my last year at college while working full time, so after finishing all my classes and exams, I had nothing else to do but working and finishing my thesis. I\'m a total hyperactive human being, and going home directly after work was driving me nuts, so I took two of my now favorite activities: tango and running. As I\'m also really passionate and dedicate with the things I enjoy, I got to be a tango teaching assistant, and an avid ultra-marathonist (by the time I was writing this, I was on a plane traveling to run my first 70K race in the mountains).When it comes to work, I\'m a really process oriented person. I believe that having clear goals, by setting a direction and getting everyone onboard, the right set of tools, by understanding the constraints within each process and tackling them effectively, and a constructive environment were positive attitude is felt, can get the most productivity out of people. Nowadays I don\'t waste my time with things I don\'t fancy doing, I thrive for challenge and I\'m constantly moving. I\'m learning new skills, improving my tango technique and enduring longer races.
