Expert in Procure to Pay with over 22 years’ experience working with suppliers, purchase orders, accounts payable and payments in the public sector. Proven track record to significantly improve business process and transactional management, resulting in significant savings. Led council transition as an early adopter to externalise receipt of accounts payable invoices in 2002 to an external partner and invoice scanning. Significantly improved business process and invoice turnaround performance for council to 97% invoices paid on time (up from 55%).Headed a Shared Service operation to centralise accounts payable function cross council. Led on contract specification to implement transition from paper to electronic image and management via a separate portal in November 2011. Highly Commended Award from Treasury Today for Innovation in AP/AR for electronic end to end PO/invoice management in the summer of 2013; London Borough of Lambeth being the only public sector organisation nominated. Succeeded in leading the P2P module for 6 London boroughs reviewing end-to-end processes (with the potential for a further 10 to join) for Project Athena to facilitate move to a single system platform One Oracle for HR, Finance and P2P arrangements. Project went live successfully in August 2014 by original 6 boroughs, with two more on boarded after go live. Supported transition from Agresso to SAP with Westminster City Council covering P2P/OTC and associated communications, up to and after go live with Hampshire City Council and their Integrated Business Centre. Supported transition of ALMO back in house. Managing stabilisation of P2P to meet agreed metrics with HCC.Supported Senior Management Team and multiple Functional Leads on the oneSource Project with London Boroughs of Newham and Havering to migrate to Oracle Cloud based Fusion and a new PBCS environment.
