As the first Head Coach of our newly formed Boys Volleyball program, I have been tasked with building and growing this new athletic program at Horace Greeley High School. The Fall 2025 season is our program\'s inaugural season. Serving as the Head Coach, I am responsible for holding tryouts, evaluating players, player development, facilitating practices, preparing the team for games, and leading the team during matches.

ABOUT GINO PALMIERI

Currently, I am a K-4 Elementary Physical Education Teacher at Westorchard Elementary School and a JV Baseball and Boys Volleyball Head Coach at Horace Greeley High School within the Chappaqua Central School District. At this time, I am also enrolled at Lehman College, where I am working towards earning an Advanced Certificate Post Master\'s in Health Education P-12. I anticipate completing this program in the Fall of 2025 and my goal is to become NYS certified in Health Education for all grades at that time.Previously, I served as a middle and high school Physical Education Teacher, JV Baseball Coach and JV Volleyball Coach within the Rye Neck Union Free School District. I am a graduate of Manhattanville College\'s Physical Education and Sports Pedagogy Master\'s program, where I received a Master of Arts in Teaching in Physical Education and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA. I completed my Physical Education Student Teaching at Mildred E. Strang Middle School. In my previous role, I was an Assistant Baseball Coach, Assistant Pioneer League Special Olympics Coach, and a Certified Teaching Assistant within the Yorktown Central School District. I graduated from James Madison University, in December of 2018, with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management and a minor in Business. At James Madison, I served as Secretary and Student Advisor of the Sport and Leisure Association of Madison. I also worked closely with the James Madison University Athletics Department in various internship positions. In addition, I held a managerial position at James Madison\'s University Recreation Center. My goal is to make an impact with our youth and create a generation of life long movers who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to lead healthy lifestyles.\"Success isn\'t owned, it\'s leased.
