ABOUT GINA SOUTHERN-MONSON

I\'m an entrepreneurial, people-centric, change-maker passionately committed to growing mission-driven brands that provide products or services which support the health and wellness of all people, and the planet.I\'m dynamic and self-directed, with a proven track record in successfully developing and implementing sales, marketing, and branding strategies that build brand value, with a principal focus on building and nurturing relationships through authentic and meaningful engagement. For the last 15 years, my experience has included account management (managing relationships with accounts, distributors, customers, etc.), field and event marketing (managing/hiring brand reps, implementing and staffing demos, prospecting and organizing large scale events and tradeshows), shopper, event, and brand marketing collateral design and implementation, and sales management guided by connection, communication and authenticity. The lion\'s share of my experience is within the Natural CPG space, primarily start ups or independently owned companies focused on nutrition, wellness, or sustainability - areas I am extremely passionate about. I am also the founder of Vessel Kitchen Gardens, a sustainable gardening company focused on creating ecological landscapes and hyper-sustainable botanical goods that benefit people and planet. My mission is to empower people to understand the critical importance of biodiversity and land tending, and to witness the myriad ways we can utilize the food, medicine, natural dyes, textile material, etc. growing right in our own backyards.
