ABOUT GINA SLONIN
Working with people is my passion; it\'s become the unchanging factor in each job I pursue. From learning about how to represent minority populations and writing my Senior Thesis on the Human Right Violations in Venezuela, I have grown a passion for being a voice for those who are silenced. This activism grew during my years of undergrad at Arcadia University and continues to grow as I now work with immigrants, both documented and undocumented, to help them obtain status and citizenship.During the course of my academic career, I also managed to accrue nearly 4 years of work experience as well as 3 full semesters studying abroad in Spain and Chile. I had the privilege of interning for American Jewish Committee where I learned valuable professional skills such as Jewish advocacy, international relations and coalition building, and Hispanic minority growth in the U.S. During my time studying abroad, I learned valuable professional skills such as keeping an open mind to the lives and cultures of others, as well as representing the North American Jewish woman that I am.
