Gina Long, along with Sally Balch, Ollie Hatcher, Helen Cook, Bonk Tasker, Linda Grave and Pat Pipe founded Breakthrough Suffolk in Our dear friend Sally Balch, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer in December 1998, led the group and inspired us and hundreds more throughout Suffolk to raise all we could to help fund research into the disease. In October 2004, Sally lost her battle with breast cancer but her determination to fight for a future where breast cancer no longer threatens lives still lives on in the group today. To date as volunteers we have raised over for more information.
