ABOUT GILLIAN DOUCET CAMPBELL

Equipping communities to ignite imagination and sustain inspired innovation. Creative, curious, and intentional with injecting fresh ideas and innovative philanthropic best practices. I encourage generosity that leads to engagement and social change while remaining missionally grounded and with the big-picture in mind. I have been given the privilege and honour to work hard with various organizations to foster a culture of intentional stewardship that moves a community to renewal and a clear path on how to engage meaningful vision and values in an accessible and sustainable way. I bring extensive development, fundraising, community engagement, administrative, strategic planning, and supervisory knowledge. My work with organizations is comprised of the creation and implementation of community initiatives, annual and capital campaigns, major donor programs including planned giving, sponsorship, online crowdsourcing campaigns, grant-writing and grant-making procedures, website writing and development, communication strategies, committee development, event planning, and organizational capacity-building. My work is informed by a deep knowledge of the particular exhilaration and stress of working for long-term structural change and beginning and sustaining programs.
