ABOUT GERO STÖCKL
In my current position at BASF, I simulate the fluid and particle dynamics of various processing units with Computational Fluid Dynamics and the Discrete Element Method. I am also pursuing my PhD in Process Engineering at Hamburg University of Technology, where I am hosted by the Institute of Solids Process Engineering and Particle Technology. My research focuses on coupling CFD-DEM and PBM for dynamic process simulation of fluidized bed agglomeration.
