ABOUT GERALD JERRY DE LIRA
About me: I had the honor and privilege of serving my country as a United Stated Marine for over 20 years. I specialized in the engineering and logistics field during my military career and gained valuable experience in many areas to include leadership development, organizational leadership, strategic planning, and problem solving, to name a few. Leadership development was by far the most enjoyable part of my career. I was fortunate enough to learn from many outstanding leaders over the years and it was very important that I pay it forward by sharing these lessons with the next generation of leaders. I am a graduate of Illinois State University and hold a bachelor’s degree and a masters’ degree. Outside of the office, I enjoy snowboarding, golf, fixing cars, and most of all, racing my Porsche 944 race car as a licensed amateur race car driver with the National Auto Sport Association.
