View department →

Laurel, MD, US

The Board of Ethics (Board) is responsible for overseeing the ethics program at WSSC. I have unanimously been reappointed to the Board by the WSSC commissioners three times. I have served as chair of the Board since 2013. The chair is responsible for approving the agenda and managing the Board\'s monthly meetings. Additionally, the Chair serves as the Hearing Officer during proceedings when the Board had determined that an individual or an entity has violated WSSC\'s Code of Ethics. Some of these hearings have involved multiple parties with diverse interests with as many as seven lawyers. These hearings are transcribed by court reporters and in some instances required the use of interpreters.
