ABOUT GEOFF CLOPTON
Geoff Clopton Jr is a 3rd-generation Real Estate Expert, licensed in D.C, Maryland and Virginia. An Associate Broker with 22+ years\' experience exceeding expectations for buyers, sellers and landlords, he also works with real estate and property management companies of all sizes - helping drive ethical and efficient systems, growing business and portfolios and overseeing all aspects of successful business. As an Associate Broker, license realtor and property management leader, he\'s experienced overseeing hundreds of millions in investment property and teams managing hundreds of homes. He is a seasoned and trusted expert at running small to mid-sized firms, companies and departments. He excels at meeting with and securing new clients, building business, problem-solving and managing through crises, training and overseeing management staff and development, reviewing contracts and agreements and minimizing risk for all involved. Geoff is continuing his family\'s long and respected legacy in DC-area Real Estate. He has vivid memories of helping his grandmother, Marcia Clopton (who started one of the first women-owned real estate firms in DC in the 1950’s) put up For Sale signs across the city and suburbs. He followed in his Dad\'s footsteps and worked with his father and grandmother as a 3-person sales team until Marcia and his father retired. Geoff has been licensed in MD, DC and VA since 2003 and in 2010 got his Virginia, DC and MD broker’s licenses. He sells homes ranging from multi-million dollar estates to chic studio condos and is a strong and dedicated advocate for his clients and their interests. He is also a licensed notary public. Passionate about volunteering, Geoff has served as a director of the area real estate association, headed several community affairs committees, been active in Rebuilding Together in DC and MD and served on the Virginia Realtor Association Property Management Council. He\'s currently a Board Member of the local National Association of Residential Property Managers chapter. Before entering real estate, Geoff co-owned a successful restaurant group at the beach and learned what it takes to negotiate contracts, work with all types of personalities, provide excellent customer service and fry up some pretty delicious crab cakes and stuffed flounder. He now lives in NoVA with his wife and two girls and still loves to cook. In his free time, you\'ll also find him cheering on his girls in sports, playing a little golf and fostering puppies on weekends with Lucky Dog Rescue.
